3M Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6800, NIOSH, Medium | 9.7/10 | View on Amazon |
1. 3M Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6800, NIOSH, Medium
This respirator earned its top ranking because of its reliable protection and wide visor, offering an unobstructed view of your spray pattern. I think the balanced silicone seal makes long spraying sessions much more tolerable than older rubber models.
You will need to purchase the appropriate organic vapor cartridges separately, which adds a bit of initial hassle to your setup. Buyers consistently point out that the dual-flange sealing surface creates a secure fit across various face shapes.
Buyers frequently mention that the wide lens provides excellent peripheral visibility while spraying.
Reviewers often highlight the comfortable silicone face seal during extended painting jobs.
Users note that replacement parts are easy to source when maintenance is eventually required.

Choosing Between Them
The 3M Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6800 takes the top spot because of its reliable protection and wide visor, though you will need to purchase the appropriate organic vapor cartridges separately.
My top recommendation goes to the 3M 6800 respirator for DIYers and professionals who demand clear visibility and dependable sealing. Keep in mind that full-face respirators require proper cleaning and storage to maintain the integrity of the lens and valves over years of automotive projects.
