I Tested the Top Connect Voyee Controller to Switch and Here’s What I Found

It earned its spot through sheer reliability, offering a rock solid wireless connection that keeps dropouts to a minimum during intense matches. I think it makes a dependable choice if you just want something that works right out of the box.

You get standard rumble feedback and motion controls without paying for unnecessary extras. But remember that battery life sits around the industry average, meaning you will need to plug it in after a long weekend of gaming.

This model suits dedicated gamers who are tired of replacing gamepads due to stick drift. I would rank this as my top overall pick because it solves the most common hardware failure plaguing modern controllers.

Magnetic sensors replace traditional carbon tracks, which dramatically increases the overall lifespan of the analog sticks. The only real downside is that you pay a slight premium for this advanced sensor technology.

An unexpected built-in macro programming function sets this unit apart, letting you map complex button combos before expanding your search to cross platform compatibility. I find this versatility appealing if you regularly switch between the console and a personal computer.

Switching modes takes only a few seconds once you memorize the button shortcuts. Yet, the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired, so you might need to look up configuration tips online.

Buyers frequently complain that the flashy LED lights drain the internal battery faster than normal, but the illumination can be turned off entirely to salvage your playtime. I think the striking visual design makes up for the extra battery management.

Beyond the glowing aesthetic, you still get reliable motion controls and responsive shoulder buttons. Just keep a charging cable nearby if you prefer keeping the star pattern lit up during your entire session.

Much like the standard wireless option ranked near the top, this version relies on a traditional layout while leaning heavily into the classic console color scheme. I appreciate how it matches the iconic red and blue hardware without costing a fortune.

The textured grips add a nice touch of friction compared to plain plastic shells. But do keep in mind that the color matching is slightly brighter than the official first party hardware shades.

A reputation for being budget friendly built its popularity, but I wanted to see if that value holds up under regular use. It delivers basic functionality for casual players who do not need professional esports features.

The weight is pleasingly light, which prevents wrist fatigue during shorter gaming bursts. Yet, the build quality feels a bit hollow compared to heavier, premium alternatives on the market.
